Alicia Marcos
Alicia Marcos is the founder and owner of Guided Choices. She has worked with adults and children for over 25 years, as a therapist, coach and counselor. Alicia uses many tools she acquired throughout her professional life and concentrates today on professional/personal life coaching and hypnosis. She is certified clinically and internationally in both and has completed over 350 hours in each field.
Alicia became interested in the transformative abilities of people and her special skills to help them, while she was executive director for a halfway house for women and in a therapeutic roll and as program director for various treatment centers, serving adolescents. Alicia continued her education and completed a Masters of Counseling degree, while she was a youth minister in parish, diocesan and national positions. One of her most cherished experiences in this work was the opportunity to serve the youth of New Orleans as Director of a youth gathering to talk and meet with Mother Theresa.
More recently, Alicia has been a trainer in both fields and was the director of a hypnotherapy school that offered an exclusive children hypnosis component that she designed. She is a pioneer in the field of children hypnosis and has developed techniques that she uses and trains others.
She is very aware of how certain elements in our life can impact and undermine our ability to function effectively and can lead to emotional imbalance and lack of empowerment. So Alicia is excited about the chance to offer you the opportunity to return to the self that knows what is needed and is willing to use the skills Alicia will coach you to develop. Both hypnotherapy and coaching can go hand in hand to empower you to have the life you want.
Alicia works on the phone with clients throughout the world. She also sees clients in her office.
